New Delhi: The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has released a video detailing its targeted strikes deep within Lebanon, asserting that Hezbollah has concealed weapons in densely populated regions.
The IDF has asserted that Hezbollah is concealing weapons within residential areas in Lebanon.
“Over the past 20 years, Hezbollah has built its terror network within Lebanon’s population centers – especially throughout southern Lebanon, an area they have almost entirely turned into a launching pad for attacking Israel,” the IDF said.
“Hezbollah doesn’t want you to watch this video. They really don’t want you to share it,” it said in the video posted on X.
The IDF’s video is clearly intended to counter criticism regarding attacks in populated areas of Lebanon.
“The IDF has launched a defensive operation against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, carrying out precision strikes against hundreds of Hezbollah targets based on intelligence,” the IDF said. “Our goal was to thwart imminent attacks planned by Hezbollah, who intended to strike Israeli homes using the weapons we destroyed.”
“Our goal is to ensure that Israeli families can return to their homes safely and securely,” the statement said.

Today, Israel executed targeted airstrikes on a Hezbollah commander’s location in the southern suburbs of Beirut, according to a source with close ties to the group, as the Israeli army confirmed it is conducting precision raids in the Lebanese capital.
According to a security source who spoke on condition of anonymity due to media restrictions, an Israeli strike successfully targeted a Hezbollah commander. This marks the fourth attack on Hezbollah leaders in the region within just one week.
